Near-term Charter and Scope

To document the "real" requirements, which need to be fulfilled by AMQP 1.0 to lead to its deployment in production situations supporting real business users.

The aim will be to identify the minimal expectations of the protocol for AMQP 1.0, and to layout what would be acceptable in future revisions. The expectations of stability will also be addressed.

The aim of the User SIG is specifically NOT to come up with a wish list / kitchen sink of desires, rather to identify the absolute essentials from the perspective of customers investing in deployments of AMQP into their organizations.

Finished Work

• AMQP 1-0 Business Requirements is the definitive statement of requirements which AMQP 1-0 must address in order to be considered ready for release.
